My storyteller and illustrator roots guide my painter's hand. The narrative nonfiction collection “Fairy Tales” and my “Scrapbook” series from my childhood evoke personal memories. I have obscured faces and places; however, the narrative dominates the composition and corrals the mark.

I have traveled step by step to achieve my mature body of work, “Art at Play”. These paintings are abstractions. The paint is the vehicle that builds the composition and becomes the language that speaks of time, place, and space. My creative intention layers mark, color, and texture akin to a poet who writes phrases and truth. The Art at Play, collection courts infinite interpretation.
